Destinelo is an online booking system of Accommodation, Rent-a-car, Tour and Cruise services marketed on Destinelo.com. We offer our services in several languages extending our reach to markets of a wide range of countries. We focus on traveler experience by featuring unique Traveler Stories and recommendations.

We present our newly registered partners with a unique offer: our new partners get free advertisement slots on our website (apart from their usual presence) free of charge during the first year of cooperation. It can be used to display Last Minute or Special deals. You can find out more at his link.

Why should I register at Destinelo.com?

We offer numerous advantages to both our Customers and Partners.

Our aim is to make sure that all of our Partners have the chance to be visible and successful Service providers.

How will Customers find me on Destinelo.com?

After you register and upload all the necessary information, visual data, availability and rates related to your accommodation, car rental, tour or cruise, Customers will be able to view and book your Service.

Do I have to pay for being published on Destinelo.com?

No, the registration at Destinelo.com is free. Our co-operation with you is performance-based. It means that you are to pay a 10 % Commission Fee but only after realized bookings. There is no other cost of presence on Destinelo.com. (In case of premium content, such as advertisement on our website, the Commission Fee is higher than the usual 10%.)

As a bonus, in the first year of registration we provide advertisement slots to our new partners on our website free of charge. It can be used to display your Last Minute or Special deals. This way your Service can get a better visibility. Except for new Partners in the first year of registration, this option requires a higher commission level, than the usual 10% as it is premium content on our website. How can I create vacancy/schedules or seasonal rates?

First you need to register as a partner. When you are done with the registration, you will have access to the Partner Admin Panel of Destinelo.com.  This is the administrative section designed for our Partners and here you can find all the tools and applications to manage your services.

This is the place where you can upload your accommodation, car rental, tour or cruise Service. After we review and publish your Service you can set up availabilities and rates for it.

On our Partners page you can find tutorials and other relevant information with links for creating your vacancy/schedules or seasonal rates.

Why do I have to create vacancies for accommodation or schedules for tours and cruises?

Uploading the content of your Service will give our visitors the opportunity to browse* your Service pages but they won’t be able to make a booking if you don’t set availabilities and rates for your Service.

In order to do that you need to create vacancies and schedules for the particular Service you offer (accommodation, car rental, tour or cruise).

Our system will register your offers if you set up vacancies/schedules and will automatically handle your availabilities and Customer bookings in our database to avoid overbooking of your Services.

*Your Service will be visible on our web site (on your Service offer page) even if you don’t set up vacancies/schedules but it won’t be listed when a visitor is searching for available offers.

When will my property/service go online?

Once you have registered and uploaded the details of you Service, we will review your information and we’ll send you an email to confirm that your Service is published on Destinelo.

The next step is to set up your *vacancies/schedules and Rates and our visitors will be able to make bookings of your Services through the system.

*The exception is Car rental setup. The price for your car for rent can be set on the same page while uploading your content and details of car you are offering.

Do I have to confirm all of my bookings?

Yes, you must confirm each of your bookings to avoid double booking or lack of availability and to allow us to send the Customer a confirmation email as a guarantee of the booking that had been made through the Destinelo booking system. As we are only an intermediary between you and the Customer, we cannot guarantee availability of your property/service without your confirmation. Our system is designed to automatically send an email confirmation to the Customer once you confirm your availability. The last step for the Customer to complete the booking process is to make the deposit payment to Destinelo.

As described in the General Terms and Conditions, our Partners have the obligation to respond to all booking requests within one business day. Failure to do so will entitle Destinelo to reject the request and to offer the Customer the services of another of its Partners.

How does the process of the reservation work?

Our visitors can check the dates when your accommodation/rooms, tours, cruises or cars are available based on the periods and details of availability you set in the Partner Admin Panel for your Service.

Visitors can make a reservation through the system for available units with the Rates you had set.

When a visitor initiates the booking process, our system automatically sends you an email about the new reservation request. The next step for you is to confirm the availability of your Service. After your confirmation the Destinelo booking system retains the deposit amount from the Customer and the booking is finished. The customer will get an email confirmation with the title “Reservation complete” at the end.  (The booked capacity becomes closed automatically in the system without the need for you to close the booked capacity manually).

Confirmations always include all the contact information of both parties (guest and the Service provider) for further consultation if needed.

The visitors also have the opportunity to send you an inquiry through the system if you enable this option in the Partner Admin Panel. This is not an actual reservation. Its purpose is to give the visitors the opportunity to ask for more information about your availability or other aspects of your Service. Our system will forward these message to you and your answer back to them. The visitor will still need to finish the booking process as usual via our system to complete the reservation.

How do visitors know that I have availability?

As a part of your Responsibilities, you need to keep your accommodation/room vacancies, tour/cruises schedules, car numbers and prices up-to-date in Destinelo’s Partner Admin Panel. These availabilities will be displayed on the website where visitors can view them. The reservations that are made through Destinelo.com are automatically handled by the system. Therefore, your service capacities in the system get reduced automatically as well.

We kindly ask you to always keep your capacities and Rates up-to-date so that visitors can chose from valid bookable periods and units. This way we can prevent errors and Customer dissatisfaction. Our system automatically double-checks your availability at the beginning of a booking process in the form of an email that requires your confirmation.

It is always better to have a spare capacity in your Service than to reject or disappoint Customers if you are unable to provide the Service you offer. Failure to provide a booked Service can greatly damage both Destinelo’s and your reputation.

How do I set my Rates?

You can set your Rates while creating a vacancy (in case of accommodation) or schedule (in case of tour or cruise). In case of car rentals, the Rates are entered while you upload the details of your Car rental.

How to create vacancy?

Are there any rules of setting the Rates?

You are supposed to do the calculation of your Rates. The Rates of your Service in a chosen period of time on Destinelo cannot be higher than the Rates of your Service in the same time period displayed on any other booking site, including your own website.

Can I set seasonal rates?

Yes, you can set seasonal Rates to the uploaded accommodation/room types, tours or cruises. You can do this in the Partner Admin Panel of Destinelo. In case of Car rentals at the moment there’s no option to set seasonal Rates.

Can I set the minimum nights for a visitor to stay at the accommodation?

Yes. You can set the number of minimum nights that visitors can reserve. You can set it by indicating the number of days, weeks or months.

Do I get the Customer's personal details during the booking process?

After a successful booking, the Customer and  you, the Service Provider always receive each other’s contact information to make sure that the Parties can keep in contact directly to discuss further details.

Can I handle my services on Destinelo by a channel manager application?

Not at the moment. However there is an option for cooperation without the need to update your availabilities on Destinelo. Customers can send an inquiry form instead of a booking form which is just like a regular email inquiring about your availability. If you confirm availability, the customer can proceed to book your service on Destinelo.

Can I contact the Customer?

Yes, when the booking process has been completed.

When do I get the reservation fee? Who will give it to me?

Destinelo.com is an intermediary during the process of reservation and the service contract is between You and the Customer. Therefore, You are responsible for collecting the relevant Price, Taxes, Fees and any other amounts or charges (as stated in the Booking Confirmation e-mail sent via the Destinelo booking system) directly from the Customer on location.

Can I ask for the Customer's Credit card data to guarantee a reservation?

Not at the moment. You can guarantee the Reservation by requiring an advanced payment up to 100% of the Total Price.

However you cannot set this option by yourself in the Partner Admin Panel, you will need to inform Destinelo of the desired payment percentage in advance and one of our administrators will enter the required rates.

Can I ask for payment in advance as a guarantee?

Yes. You can ask for a certain percentage up to 100% of the total price as a form of advance payment required from the customer during the booking process. When your cancellation period expires Destinelo will retain 10% (or more based on prior agreement) from the Total Price as base Commission percentage and forward you the remaining amount based on the booking confirmation email sent by the Destinelo booking system. You will need to notify Destinelo of your preferred form of payment.

This customer deposit as a form of advance payment can be applied to accommodation, tours, cruises and cars and to individual rooms/cabin types as well.

You cannot set this option by yourself in the Partner Admin Panel, you will need to inform Destinelo of the desired payment percentage in advance and one of our administrators will enter the required rates.

Can I ask for the total Service price in advance?

Yes. You can ask for a certain percentage up to 100% of the total price as a form of advance payment required from the customer during the booking process. I am confused by the deposit system, can you explain more?

The basic global deposit during the booking process is 10%. If you don’t need a guarantee or payment in advance this deposit will be used as the Commission Fee by Destinelo and you will collect the rest on location from the Customer.

If you need a guarantee or payment in advance, the Destinelo system can be set to ask for a higher deposit percentage during the booking process for your Service.

An example: if you want 20% payment in advance, the system will calculate a 20% deposit plus a 10% Commission fee (or more based on prior agreement) for your service, resulting in a total of 30% of deposit percentage during the booking process. When your cancellation period expires Destinelo will retain 10% (or more based on prior agreement*) from the Total Price as base Commission fee and forward you the remaining amount based on the booking confirmation email sent by the Destinelo booking system.

You can also have different deposits for your rooms/cabins. For example if you have a specific expensive room/cabin type that you want 50% advanced payment for and the rest of your Service to be at 20% deposit we can set the deposits based on these requirements. If you have more than one deposit type, the services can’t be combined in one booking process, they need to be booked separately, one service at a time.

*The 10% Commission Fee applies to regular offers. Featured offers or paid advertisement on Destinelo require a higher Commission Percentage. You can find out more on the following links:

What happens if I am unable to provide the Service I was supposed to deliver?

In case You, the Service Provider, cannot honor a reservation which has already been accepted and registered in the system as successful (with a deposit amount paid by the Customer), it is primarily your responsibility to find an available substitute Service option for the particular Customer; this substitute option must belong to, at least, the same or even higher quality category as your own Service. If You are unable to find such a substitute Service for the Customer, You must inform both the Customer and Destinelo immediately so that we can help the Customer find another Service which belongs to, at least, the same or even higher quality category as your Service. If the only substitute Service option is available for a higher price, then the original Service provider which has failed to comply with the basic contract, is obliged to pay the price difference to Destinelo.

Also, you, the service provider are in obligation to compensate for any amount the customer had already paid for (eg. the deposit amount).

Can I create Special offers or discounts on Destinelo.com?

Yes. We highly encourage our Partners to create Special and Last minute offers and discounts. These offers will be treated as featured services (premium content) and they will be visible on several key pages while a visitor is browsing Destinelo (for example on Home page,  location pages, other pages like “Similar Offers” etc). In the first year of your registration you can feature your last minute or special deals with no additional charges to the base Commission fee, it stays 10%.

We will choose some of the Special and Last minute offers from our Partners to create material for ad campaigns. We will monetize these ad campaigns on external web sites (like Facebook, Google, etc.) to boost our bookings and visits to the site.

However, there are some basic requirements that must be fulfilled when creating a Special Offer:

  • the Rates of Your Special and Last minute offers must be lower than your regular Rates on Destinelo;
  • you cannot have lower Rates for the same Special Offers anywhere else (on other booking sites, including your own);
  • a *special annex to Destinelo’s General Terms and Services is to be applied with a previously agreed on Commission Percentage higher than the Base Commission Percentage.

*There is a different Commission Percentage for Featured Services that require prior agreement and an annex to the Destinelo’s General Terms and Services. For our new Partners there is a gratis period when they can set special and last minute offers with no extra charge to the Base Commission Fee.

Since we offer special gratis period for new Partners and we have advertising campaigns at specific intervals (once or twice a month), we need to work together on timing and dates for your Special and Last minute offers.

If I register on Destinelo, will my Service appear on other websites?

Yes, it is a possibility. We will choose some of the special and last minute offers of our Partners to create material for ad campaigns. We will monetize these ad campaigns on external web sites (like Facebook, Google, etc.) to boost bookings and visits of Destinelo.

However, your Service will be available to be booked only on Destinelo (in all of its language variations). The ads of Destinelo may result in showing your Service on other websites but clicking on these ads will direct visitors back to Destinelo, to complete the reservation.

In which languages will my Service be displayed on Destinelo?

At the moment Destinelo is available in the following languages:

English, Serbian, Hungarian. *

You can choose any of the above mentioned languages to upload your Service. Based on our capacity, we will translate your Service to the remaining languages we use on Destinelo.

*We will have more languages soon.

Will user reviews appear on Destinelo to rate my Service?

*Yes. Customers can rank your **Service in a scale of tens based on different criteria. Furthermore, Customers can write guest review. We suggest you to encourage the Customers to rank your Service through Destinelo. The positive reviews can makes a huge difference in the number of your reservations. We will also periodically offer those with good reviews as featured Service Providers on our site and may monetize off site ads for them too (without asking for additional compensation).

*Only logged in Destinelo Customers who have completed a reservation for your Service can write a review. (One review per reservation).

**At the moment only accommodation, tours and cruises can be ranked and reviewed.

Can I answer the user reviews of my Service?

No, not at the moment. However, if you think the user review was unfair and inaccurate for an unknown reason, we can challenge the Customer with your opinion and if it’s needed we can delete the review. We reserve the right to delete offensive and inappropriate reviews as well.

What is the Commission Percentage retained by Destinelo after a successful booking?

10% of the total amount is retained by the Destinelo booking system as Commission Percentage after each successful booking of accommodation, car rental, tour or cruise Service. The remaining 90% is to be collected from the Customer on location by You, the Service Provider. If there is a different Commission Percentage based on prior agreement, this individual Commission Percentage will apply.

When do I have to pay the Commission Fee to Destinelo?

The 10 % Commission Fee is retained by the system at the end of a successful booking, therefore you are not required to send us monthly compensation or engage in costly bank transactions.

Can I use my own Cancellation Policy for the reservations through Destinelo.com?

Yes. The accommodation, Tour, Cruise or Car rental Service Contract is between You and the Customer. Destinelo is an intermediary during the process of reservation. You can enter your Cancellation policy in the Partner Admin Panel of Destinelo. During the process of reservation we inform the Guests about your Cancellation policy and ask them to accept the conditions. If you don’t specify your own Cancellation policy then Destinelo’s default Cancellation policy applies (21 day).

What happens when a Customer doesn't show up on location?

Destinelo has no knowledge of a Customers actual arrival or departure dates or any cancellation notice that may be given directly to You. Therefore, you have to inform Destinelo within 24 hours of the no-show or the booking will be listed as realized. The same goes for cancellation that has been given directly to you – you have to inform Destinelo of the cancellation in order to determine whether it is sufficient under your cancellation policy. If you don’t enter your cancellation policy into the system, Destinelo’s  cancellation policy will apply. When a no-show has been determined, no Commission fee will be requested from you.

What are my responsibilities if my Service is listed on Destinelo?

To preserve Customer satisfaction we would like to ask You the following:

  • To indicate only accurate information on the website;
  • To provide your Service to the highest standard possible based on your description;
  • To always keep your vacancies, prices, room and cabin types, tour or cruise schedules and contact information valid and up-to-date;
  • To send a reply to inquiries within 24 hours;
  • To confirm booking requests;
  • It is in your interest to inform Destinelo of an offsite cancellation or a Customer no-show (within 24 hours).

What are the factors that determine how and where my Service is listed on Destinelo?

Customers can define their search results based on the following criteria: dates, location, price, stars (in case of hotel ranking), Customer rating, type of service (accommodation, car rental, tour or cruise). Pick-up and drop-off times and type of car (in case of car rentals), start date and tour type (in case of tours), start date and cruise type, number of cabins (in case of cruises).

We also include featured lists of accommodation, car rentals, tours or cruises. (Premium content). This requires prior arrangement between You and Destinelo.
